Welcome to the Mortlake Buskers Festival Website - Home of the Australian Busking Champion! Unfortunately, the Mortlake Bukser's Festival will not be staged in 2009. Stay tuned for more information regarding the festival in 2010. We at the Mortlake Buskers Festival are proud to pass on to you some information on our fabulous Buskers Festival held annually in the gloriously leafy surrounds of Market Square and the main street of Mortlake. Each year our team of volunteers seek out the best in the bizarre, hilarious and innovative entertainment to be enjoyed alongside some wonderful food and wine in a relaxed environment. Over the years the Mortlake Buskers Festival has showcased some fantastic Buskers and Street Performers who have engaged and delighted the punters! The Festival proudly lays claim to the title of Australian Busking Champion and each year our crowned Champion receives a cash prize and goes on to perform for huge crowds at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
